GREEN

Inspired by Pounamu, a precious and powerful greenstone only found in the South Island. It is often carved into a pendant or necklace, which carries special meaning for its wearer.

burgundy

Inspired by Central Otago, a region famous for its Pinot Noir. This southernmost wine region in the world produces Pinot Noirs that are intense, layered, and often with a hint of the wild herbaceousness reminiscent of the rugged landscapes from which they hail.

light blue

Inspired by Lake Pukaki, a picturesque lake fed by Tasman and Hooker glaciers close to Aoraki/Mt Cook.

It has a distinctive blue colour, created by glacial flour, the extremely finely ground rock particles from the glaciers.

gLOWWORM GLIMMER

The Iceborne is equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova C3 BL grade X1 lume and was chosen to imitate the glimmer of glowworms found in the famous Waitomo caves.

about the iceborne

Zealandic is making its debut release with the Iceborne, a watch inspired by colours and textures from around New Zealand. The dial gets its texture from the Ice Caves of Tasman Glacier paired with high polished floating indices to add an extra layer of depth. Equipped with a premium automatic Miyota 9039 movement, the Zealandic Iceborne will be relaunching on Kickstarter on September 20th 2024 at $699 NZD ($430 USD) and available in three colours.
